Open the Lists tab, tap a list (or create one with the + button), then tap Add Item. Swipe an item to check it off or delete it.
Add an item to your Pantry with an expiration date and PantryPal reminds you two days before it expires, at 9am. The Pantry tab also keeps a "Use These First" shelf showing whatever is closest to its date. Reminders need notifications allowed in Settings → PantryPal → Notifications.
Open a list, tap the book icon, and paste the recipe's URL. PantryPal reads the ingredient list off the page and lets you pick which ingredients to add to your list. It works on sites that publish standard recipe data, which most large cooking sites do.
Open the list and tap the bag icon. Everything you checked off moves into your Pantry with a shelf life filled in based on its category, and expiration reminders are scheduled automatically.
No. PantryPal has no sign-up and no login. Open the app and start using it.
Turn your screen brightness all the way up and hold the phone flat against the scanner. If the store's scanner still can't read it, the cashier can type the number shown under the barcode.
Delete the app. Everything PantryPal stores lives on your iPhone, so removing the app removes all of it. There is no account and no server copy.
No. PantryPal is free to download and use.
